Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life in Kazakhstan. New services speed up public agencies and assist passengers on trips
Kazakhstan is accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence – moving technologies from experimental projects to real-world services for government, business, and citizens.
Kazakhstan is accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence – moving technologies from experimental projects to real-world services for government, business, and citizens.
According to data presented on August 21 at the National Think Tank Forum in Astana, AI technologies are already used in 16 government agencies across Kazakhstan, with over 1.2 million citizen requests processed using AI. The National Artificial Intelligence Platform is integrated with more than 120 government databases. It hosts over 50 AI agents, while a total of 308 AI agents are currently being developed across the country.
Further implementation of artificial intelligence is expected to cut response times from government agencies roughly in half.
AI development is also progressing in the private sector. Kazakhstani companies are starting to embed their own smart solutions into products that people use every day.
One such project is Vputi Assistant, developed by Kaztechnology. It serves as an intelligent assistant for the Vputi.kz multimedia portal, designed for train passengers.
Vputi Assistant helps users interact with the multimedia portal in a more natural way: finding relevant content, getting information, and navigating the service's features more quickly. The project is part of Kaztechnology’s initiative to develop and practically apply artificial intelligence technologies. Thus, AI in Kazakhstan is gradually ceasing to be a technology of the future. It is becoming part of the country’s digital infrastructure – from public services to solutions people can use right while traveling on a train.
Artificial intelligence is getting closer – and now it truly accompanies travelers along the way.
